Blackstone Group LP agreed to sell the last stake of its Hilton Worldwide Holdings after 11 years of investment. With the exit, Blackstone will realize some US $14 billion of profit, the most-profitable private equity deal on record.

Meanwhile, Minor International reached an agreement to acquire 30 million shares in the Spain-based NH Hotel Group for US $225.79 million. This deal will help the Thai group take an 8.6% stake in the 382-hotel chain, following its earlier expansion into Portugal and Brazil through the acquisition of Tivoli Hotels & Resorts in 2016. In this context, Central Pattana Plc under Thailand’s biggest retailer Central Group acquired a 22.93% stake in Dusit Thani Plc, a leading hotel operator in Thailand, for US $67.2 million.
