Lodgis acquires two historic landmark hotels in Cambodia

Singapore-based Lodgis Hospitality Holdings, a joint venture between Warburg Pincus and VinaCapital, has acquired the 175-key Raffles Hotel Le Royal Phnom Penh and the 119-key Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor Siem Reap. Lodgis thus owns the largest collection of luxury historic hotels in the Indochina region to date, including the 365-key Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, as well as the management business under the Fusion brand.

Meanwhile, Bensley Collection - Shinta Mani Wild will open in November 2018, offering a luxury tented camp experience with 15 tents perched over the swift moving waters and waterfalls within Southern Cardamom National Park. In the retail sector, Phnom Penh will welcome the seven-storey Olympia Mall by year-end, which consists of retail stores, a theme park, F&B outlets, as well as entertainment and sporting facilities.
